Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups pecans (1 cup chopped, ½ cup halved for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold together: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour & top: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the pecan halves on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & serve: Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
