Great for anyone looking for quick breakfast treats, easy dinner desserts, healthy-ish snacks, and seasonal food ideas.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/4 cups granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)

3 cups powdered sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (for frosting)

23 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

1/4 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

6. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

7. Bake for 20–24 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.

8. Cool completely in the pan before frosting.

9. Make frosting by beating butter, then adding powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream until smooth and spreadable.

10. Frost cooled bars, add sprinkles, slice into squares, and serve.

Notes

Make sure the butter is fully softened before creaming for the best texture.

Cool the bars completely before frosting to prevent melting.

Wipe the knife between slices to get clean, professional-looking squares.
