1 tablespoon olive oil
12 ounces chicken apple sausage, sliced
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
8 ounces pasta (penne, fusilli, or cavatappi recommended)
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
