Ingredients
- 12 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your preferred cut)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional), for garnish
Instructions
-
Prep the steak: Pat steak dry and cut into bite-sized cubes. Toss with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
-
Cook the pasta: Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
-
Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and keep warm.
-
Make Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
-
Finish the sauce: Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Combine: Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.
-
Serve: Plate the pasta, top with steak bites, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
