Ingredients
- 400g (14 oz) spaghetti
- 450g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20)
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper (for serving)
Instructions
- Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown ground beef over medium-high heat.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, garlic, and onion. Cook until beef is browned and fragrant.
- Lower heat to medium. Add heavy cream and stir.
- Add cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan, then paprika. Stir to combine. Add salt and pepper.
- If sauce is too thick, use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce. Toss gently to coat all strands.
- Let simmer for 1–2 minutes, then garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and pepper.
- Serve hot.
