A creamy and comforting pasta dish made with bowtie noodles, seasoned ground beef, and a smooth Velveeta cheese sauce. Perfect for weeknights, this hearty meal is quick to prepare and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional paprika. Stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Add milk and Velveeta cubes to the skillet. Stir constantly until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
- If sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until evenly coated.
- Simmer for a couple of minutes to let flavors meld.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
