Description

A creamy and comforting pasta dish made with bowtie noodles, seasoned ground beef, and a smooth Velveeta cheese sauce. Perfect for weeknights, this hearty meal is quick to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional paprika. Stir to combine.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add milk and Velveeta cubes to the skillet. Stir constantly until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. If sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until evenly coated.
  7. Simmer for a couple of minutes to let flavors meld.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
