Description

If you’re looking for a creamy, tangy, and irresistibly fresh addition to your meals, this Best Ranch Dressing is it. Made with real buttermilk, mayonnaise, sour cream, and a perfect mix of herbs and spices, this quick and easy recipe takes minutes to make and beats any store-bought version hands down. Whether you need a quick dressing for salads, a dip for veggies, or a zesty topping for wraps, this is the go-to homemade ranch that brings flavor to every bite. It’s a great option if you’re searching for quick lunch ideas, healthy snacks, or easy recipes for dinner.

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, finely minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon white vinegar or lemon juice

pinch of sugar (optional)

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.

2. Add chopped parsley, dill, chives, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

3. Add vinegar or lemon juice for tang. Include a pinch of sugar if desired for balance.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning or consistency as needed. Add more buttermilk if too thick.

5. Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

6. Shake or stir before using. Serve as dressing, dip, or spread.

Notes

For best flavor, allow the dressing to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

You can substitute fresh herbs with dried — use one-third the amount.

If the dressing thickens in the fridge, stir in a little milk to loosen it.
