Ingredients
Pasta & Beef:
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb ground beef (or beef chunks)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (if using lean beef)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a deep skillet, heat olive oil (if needed), add beef, and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk. Stir gently, then whisk in Parmesan until sauce is smooth and thick. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
- Return cooked beef to skillet and stir to combine.
- Add drained pasta to the sauce and beef. Toss gently to coat evenly. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra black pepper.
