Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

Description

Juicy, smoky grilled chicken paired with a creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce. Perfect for entertaining, meal prepping, or an exciting dinner upgrade.


Ingredients

For the Chicken Marinade:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley or cilantro
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together all bang bang sauce ingredients. Adjust seasoning and spice to taste. Set aside.
  3. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Heat grill pan or grill to medium-high. Oil lightly.
  6. Cook skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and lightly charred.
  7. Drizzle skewers with bang bang sauce or serve sauce on the side.
  8. Garnish with chopped herbs and sesame seeds if desired.
