6 chicken legs (drumsticks)
8 ounces cremini or baby bella mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken legs dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken legs skin-side down for 4–5 minutes until golden, flip, and cook another 3–4 minutes. Remove from skillet.
