Golden, crispy Air Fryer French Fries made with just a touch of oil for a lighter, healthier take on the classic side dish. Perfectly seasoned and easy to prepare, they’re a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, black pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley, grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into 1/4-inch matchsticks.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes with a towel.
- Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and optional seasonings.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve immediately with extra salt or garnishes if desired.
