Description

Golden, crispy Air Fryer French Fries made with just a touch of oil for a lighter, healthier take on the classic side dish. Perfectly seasoned and easy to prepare, they’re a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley, grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into 1/4-inch matchsticks.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes with a towel.
  4. Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and optional seasonings.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Serve immediately with extra salt or garnishes if desired.
